Funcions a desenvolupar: Leading company in the e-commerce sector, specialising in the sale and distribution of sporting goods, is looking to recruit for its logistics centre in Germany:
LOGISTICS MANAGER GERMAN ESSENTIAL
Reporting to the General Management and in coordination with the Logistics Director and the Customer Service Director at the head office, the selected person will be responsible for implementing the logistics processes and parameters defined by the management at the logistics centre in Germany, taking into account indicators to verify their correct operation. A solid understanding of warehouse management and distribution processes will be required, as well as leadership skills to manage a diverse team and ensure operational efficiency.
After a training plan that will be carried out in the facilities near Girona (Catalonia-Spain) for a period of approximately 6 months, the person who joins will have to relocate and settle in Germany to lead the consolidation and growth of the logistics centre.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth and implementation of logistics processes at the German Logistics Centre.
- Oversee the daily operations of product receiving, storage, picking and shipping.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage and motivate a team of specialised picking operatives, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth supply chain and meet customer requirements.
- Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and suggest improvements.
- Maintain communication with head office to ensure efficient coordination of logistics activities.

Requisits del lloc de treball: Education:
- Preferably a professional education in logistics management.
- Engineering studies with a focus on process improvement and organisation will be appreciated.
Work experience:
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics, preferably in an e-commerce or distribution environment.
- Experience in international customer service, international trade or export will also be considered.
- Experience in warehouse positions within high growth environments, high volume references or other operational complexities.
Skills:
- Fluency in German.
- Fluency in English or Spanish.
- Experience of warehouse management software or other ERP environments.
- Competencies: Leadership, goal setting, business acumen, customer focus, decision making, resilience, planning and organisation.
- IMPORTANT: Willingness to relocate and reside in Germany after the training period in Girona.
