Collaborating with the Fundació Lluita on a charity concert that combines music and research.

11.12.2025

For the second year running, we are proud to be part of a very special initiative this Christmas: the charity concert organised by the Fundació Lluita Contra les Infeccions.

Salvador Sobral and Luísa Sobral will perform together for the first time in Catalonia this year, raising funds for research into infections in immunocompromised individuals. It promises to be a unique and meaningful evening, celebrating Christmas while supporting science through culture and connecting the audience with a cause of significant social impact.

The concert will take place on Sunday 21 December at L’Auditori in Barcelona, where the two artists, who are committed to the Foundation’s research efforts, will perform together in an intimate setting, blending their repertoires.

The Fundació Lluita focuses on immunocompromised individuals whose immune systems are weaker due to genetic factors, certain illnesses or transplants. These individuals have fewer defences. This cause is especially close to Salvador Sobral: he received a heart transplant in 2017.

The first concert, which took place last year and also involved Axxon, raised more than €80,000, all of which was donated to Alzheimer's research. At Axxon, we hope that the auditorium will once again be filled with solidarity this year and that the collective effort will help advance research into infections affecting immunocompromised individuals.
