TALENT, INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE PRODUCTIVE MODEL: KEY ELEMENTS FOR THE FUTURE OF CATALONIA’S BUSINESS FABRIC
Last Friday, we attended an event organised by the Unió Empresarial Intersectorial (UEI), a well-established organisation with over 45 years' experience of connecting, representing and supporting companies from all sectors in Vallès Oriental and the surrounding area.
The UEI is a well-established network that provides services, knowledge and meeting spaces, while also fostering connections and influence to support the growth of its member businesses.
The debate at the luncheon featured Alícia Romero, the Minister for Economy and Finance, who has been a Member of the Parliament of Catalonia since 2012. She delivered a keynote speech focusing on an economic model based on shared prosperity. The event also provided an opportunity for open discussion and networking.
This was our first UEI event, which coincided with the opening of Axxon’s new office in Granollers in 2026, making it a particularly meaningful experience.
The new office strengthens our commitment to the region and the businesses and professionals that contribute to it. Our goal is to establish closer ties with the business community in Vallès Oriental, Vallès Occidental, Osona, Maresme and Barcelonès.
